The founder
The man behind the mission.
A former University of Arizona standout, Jamarye Joiner's career was defined by versatility. He excelled as a Wide Receiver and Return Specialist despite coming in as a quarterback. A pivotal 2019 season, played in the wake of three foot surgeries, shifted his perspective toward the reality of life beyond the game.
Navigating the early waves of the NIL era, Jamarye saw firsthand how easily athletes can reach the end of their careers with no blueprint for the future. Driven by the mission to make sure no athlete graduates "with nothing," he founded Foundations Athlete.
Jamarye is dedicated to helping athletes reclaim their identity, teaching them they are more than a jersey number, and helping them build a legacy that outlasts their time on the field.
