Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Foundations Athlete ("Foundations Athlete," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website, join a waitlist or contact us. Foundations Athlete is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

By using our website, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or submit information to us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. We only collect personal information you choose to share with us:

• App waitlist. First name, last name, email address, mobile phone number, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
• Workbook waitlist. Your name and email address, collected on our workbook waitlist pages.
• Contacting us. When you email us, or use our contact page (which opens your own email app), we receive your name, email address, any phone number you include and your message.
• Other forms. If we add other sign up or interest forms, we collect what that form asks for, and this policy applies to it.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, links clicked, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• add you to the waitlist you joined and tell you when that product is available
• send the emails and, if you opted in, the text messages you asked for
• answer your questions and requests
• understand how people use the site so we can improve it
• protect the site, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep our records
• comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use

Every email we send for marketing includes a way to unsubscribe.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the box on our app waitlist form, you agree to receive text messages from Foundations Athlete at the mobile number you provide, such as a message when the FA Home Base app launches and related updates.

• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email us at info@foundationsathlete.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with service providers that help us deliver messages and run our business, as described below.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them, and similar technologies, to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it.

We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These services collect information about how you interact with the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scrolling and general location based on IP address. Microsoft Clarity can also create session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors move through a page. We use this information in aggregate to fix problems and improve the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add on, and you can learn more about how Microsoft uses data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Some features may not work properly if you block cookies.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers. Companies that host, store or process information for us, such as Google (Google Forms and Google Sheets, which hold waitlist signups, and email), our website hosting provider, analytics providers, and text message and email delivery services. When we start taking payments online, payments will be processed by Stripe, and we will not receive or store your full card number.
• Legal reasons. When we believe it is required by law, a court order or legal process, or needed to protect the rights, safety or property of Foundations Athlete, our users or others.
• Business changes. If Foundations Athlete is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
• With your permission. In any other case where you ask us to or agree to it.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, such as while a waitlist is open and while you remain subscribed, or as long as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, and our site is served over a secure HTTPS connection. No website or method of storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Children and minors

Foundations Athlete creates content about youth and student athletes, but this website is intended for parents, guardians, coaches, organizations and athletes who are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you are under 13, please don't submit any information on this site. A parent or guardian should sign up on your behalf. Parents and guardians may join a waitlist on behalf of a minor athlete using their own contact information.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at info@foundationsathlete.com and we will delete it. When the FA Home Base app launches, we will update this policy or post a separate notice that covers the app.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the email, and stop text messages by replying STOP.

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have about you and how we use it
• get a copy of your personal information
• ask us to correct or delete it
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it)
• not be treated differently for using these rights

To make a request, email info@foundationsathlete.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

Other websites

Our site links to other websites and services, such as Instagram, Google Forms and our own waitlist and mentorship pages hosted on other addresses. Websites we don't control have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we may also let you know by email or a notice on the site. Using the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
